TN Tuesday: Creating Layouts with the TNMK Instruction Sheet
Hi Everyone, Today the design team is sharing travelers notebook layouts created with sketches. Let's jump right in with this design from Casie, "Hi all! I used Christine's simple dori sketch from the Acorn Lane TNMK kit for this my layout and my starting point, the free stamp this month with the saying 'I miss precedented times'." The one thing I miss about pre-COVID times is getting together with friends for coffee or a restaurant meal! And you know I love a tip in journaling card. I used two circle elements from the pocket memory keeping kit to anchor the photo on the left and to act as a lift-up tab for the photo on the right side." "On the journaling card, I used two different thicknesses of ink pens to add emphasis to a few words. And a utensil die-cut to the backside of the circle tab to mirror the photos of a fork and spoon." "And I would love to hear about what you miss about 'precedented' times". We love Casie's simple yet poignant documentation of current life! Korrie-ann chose the same sketch for her layout. She tells us, "For TN Tuesday I have chosen to use Christine's monthly sketch as inspiration for my layout, which uses two photographs rather than the traditional one photo layout." "I like to matte my photographs so I have chosen the brown leaf paper from the Memory Keeping kit to add a contrast to the background, layering them with the die cuts." "For my title and subtitle, I have used the rub one, along with another at the bottom of the page. The space left is perfect for my journaling. To add a finishing touch I used the washi tape and added a piece to each of my photographs." Korrie-ann used the triangle shape to create compositional flow in her design. And that photo is just darling. Our final layout is from Traci and she notes, "For my inspiration, I chose to use the "On The Menu" layout from Acorn Lane's monthly inspiration." "I was inspired by the photo placement and hexagon, and then my gratitude journal layout exploded from there! I loved the graffiti in the background of my photo, so I mimicked the effect throughout the layout with rub ons from the collection as well!" Traci's gratitude journal is amazing and we appreciate the way she adapted the Christine's layout from the TNMK instruction sheet for today's layout. It would be wonderful to see how you are using the TNMK instruction sheets. Please share with us in the Cocoa Daisy Fan group our by tagging @cocoa_daisy on social media posts.
