Greetings! We talk about pocket pages a lot around here and that's because we truly love the simplicity of documenting stories in this format. One of the reasons pocket scrapbooking is simple is that many of the pocket dimensions are standard which make it easy to slip your photos and pretty cards into the pockets. You don't need a special item or technique to fill your pockets. Our memory keeping kits include a generous amount of ephemera including die cuts and stickers that can be used as titles or journaling as well as simple embellishments to add a special something to your photos and journaling cards. Cocoa Daisy pocket cards can be used to tell lots of different stories and most of the cards are interchangeable with past kits. Today we are sharing to very different layouts created from the same pocket kit. We begin with a gratitude layout from April. She used vellum layers and hexies to create this design. April noted that celebrations of gratitude are needed and we appreciate the lovely way she is documenting the good stuff in her pocket album. In fact, November is a great month to remind ourselves of all wonderful things we have experienced this year. Odessa is doing just that with a Project Life pocket page layout. She said,"Acorn Lane is just so much fun! This layout has some pockets on one side and a 6x8 full page layout on the other. It has lots of those beautiful fall colours from the kits and one of the gorgeous vellum 3x4 cards from the Pocket Memory Keeping Kit." "I had a large square photo I took of a bunch of my fav summer instant photos that I wanted to feature. I was organizing them at the end of summer and realized just what a good one we had. I used my two favourite papers from the Memory Keeping Kits under it, the beautiful fall floral from the Pocket and Traveler’s Notebook Kits and the nice bright wood print in the Memory Keeping Classified Kit." "I layered my large photo with some die cuts (love that they’re sticky now!) and the beautiful foiled leaf washi from the Memory Keeping Pocket Kit. Lately the Memory Keeping Sticker kit has been coming with this mini translucent sheet of script style words that is so cute, I used one on the tab at the top." "For the foiled 3x4 card I kept it simple with a chipboard phrase. I have been loving the chipboard sheets in the Memory Keeping kits even more than usual the past few months! We’ve had such a beautiful fall here and Acorn Lane was just what I needed to finish up a few more pages in my 2020 album."
