Each month, after I finish setting up my planner, I find that I have some items that are left over. Since I plan in a standard sized TN, I don't end up using the A5 planner dashboards on a regular basis. This month, I loved the "November" one so much. Linouspots beautiful artwork just couldn't be kept in my closet. So, I pulled it out, grabbed my scissors to do some fussy cutting and created a set of tags. All three of them were made from the one dashboard and I am so pleased with how they turned out. To create the tags, I used a grey wood paper scrap and the tan diamond cardstock packaging - more kit leftovers! They were trimmed down to  4" by 2.5". I punched a hole in the top and decided not to add twine or a ribbon, as I am not yet sure how I will use them. I may give them as gift tags, use them on Thanksgiving cards or even add them to my planner as decorations. That's the beauty of tags, they are so versatile! On this tag, I trimmed some of the floral and leaf motif. I layered it onto the tag adding the glue to the bottom of the piece. This leaves the upper part to pull away from the tag giving it some texture. I added that cute little mushroom puffy sticker to the bottom. The die cut makes a great sentiment for a card. I added it with foam adhesive to add even more texture. Finally, I included the sweet chipboard hearts and my favorite glitter dots to add detail. This next tag was made in a similar way. I used the floral and leaf motif. I love how the right side hangs off the tag. The little fox is my absolute favorite character from this month so, of course, I wanted to add him to this one. I added the heart and glitter dots, as well. The chipboard banner makes a great sentiment for a card, as well. I love all of the patterns and textures on this one. My last tag uses the November word. I just love this font and the sweet acorn. I decided to cut it out and then cut it apart so that it would fit on the tag. Doesn't it look cute? Once I adhered it with foam adhesive, I added a small leaf sprig that I cut from the dashboard and the chipboard heart and glitter dots. I love adding similar embellishments across matching projects to tie them all together. As you can see, using a couple of kit leftover papers and some packaging can produce great results. I can't wait to use this sweet set!
