More Classified Kit Fun with Acorn Lane
Greetings!
Today we are focusing on the Cocoa Daisy Classified Memory Keeping kits from our Acorn Lane collection. They contain exclusive items that can be used to Audrey is sharing a traditional layout created with items from these kits.
"Did you know that Cocoa Daisy has two exclusive classified kits: planning and memory keeping, that come out each month? These kits are secret and are a super fun and awesome suprise when they come!! For this layout, I primarily used the Acorn Lane memory keeping classified kit, which is filled with tons of goodies.”
“Because I wanted to make sure I used all the goodness of the memory keeping classified kit, I started with a sketch. This sketch helped me see the direction of my layout and make sure I used my supplies. However, if you look closely, you will see that I ultimately strayed from the sketch and changed my final layout. And that's ok! The sketch is just a guide.”
“This layout came together seamlessly. I started making my own 12x12 page with the planner paper that was included in the classified kit. I absolutely love this planner paper as its the perfect size to use to make a 12x12 sized layout, which is my preferred size.“
“Once I had my 12x12 paper made I added embellishments. On the left side I did an embellishment wall, if you will, using the embellishments found in the classified kit (the wood veneer, the stickers to name a few) and some bits and pieces from the Acorn Lane collection (stamps, the fox embroidery patch). This embellishment wall was not in my sketch. I decided to do it after I saw how my 12x12 paper came together. After I was done with my embellishment wall, I placed popped my photo up with pop dots. You can see, I used the speech bubble stickers to provide some conversation for Dennis (my dog) and Barley (my cat).”

Traci incorporated items from the Acorn Lane classified memory keeping in her gratitude journal. She explains, "The products that come on the Memory Keeping: Classified Collection are such a fun surprise every month! This month, I'm working on a journaling-heavy gratitude project, so I knew that the little gold stickers and wood veneer in the classified collection would be a perfect way to add a little pizzaz to my layout in a delicate way, since I didn't have a lot of room!"
"I also had a great time puling from the exclusive die cuts for my page too! I love challenging myself to work with just one kit!"
