Make Your Halloween SPOOKtacular with Cocoa Daisy!

We are in the Halloween spirit today and excited to share the super fun Halloween Bonus Kit with you! This kit was an extra kit for October. We dress up our homes, ourselves, and sometimes even our furry friends for this special holiday, so why not our planners and memory-keeping spreads? We have three Creative Team Members sharing what they created with this unique kit that is sure to put a spell on you!
Jennifer had fun decorating her planners with this festive kit.
"I used the Halloween Bonus Kit items to jazz up my traveler's notebook. Halloween is my very favorite holiday!
I used the vellum paper and some linen cardstock to make an insert cover. I love the feel of vellum crinkling in my fingers as I turn through my notebook.

After getting my notebook ready, I decided I needed to get my 7X9 coil-bound planner in the spirit, too. I laminated the acetate and punched it to create a transparent dashboard for meal plans and notes for the week.
I also used the broom die cut to make a bookmark for my monthly pages. See the process, including some tips and tricks if you don't have a coil punch, in my youtube video below."

This kit is right up Jennie's alley, and perfect for a mini-album.
"The moment I saw the Halloween Bonus Kit, I had to have it. I was in love with some of the imagery, particularly the bits and pieces that reminded me of magic and certain wizards.
I first used some of the die cuts and chipboard from the kit to create a mini album all about my visits to Universal Studios and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
When I was finished with my mini album I knew I wanted to make some Halloween pages, too. So, the first one I had to create was of my dog in her Halloween costume!
So easy to keep these memories alive with this kit, thanks to the pocket cards and embellishments!"

"Hello, Boo-tiful daisies! Have you seen the Halloween Bonus Kit yet? It's ghoulish-ous. Ha, puns aside, I love all the Halloween elements of this kit from witches and wizards to pumpkins. I focused on the pumpkins for the outside the page protector 6x8 layout of my hauntingly cool Halloween chic style.
I wanted to keep the colors neutral, so I settled on the black and white raven paper. As a tip, to stretch the paper to fit my layout, I used a piece of black paper from my stash and cut the kit paper into strips. By doing this I created a fun design and also stretched my paper! Want another tip? I used sticker paper on the 3x4 journal card to hold my story.
I completed this scary cool layout by adding some chipboard around the journal card. I added it in pockets of 3 following the design rule of 3. The "haunt it" chipboard is from last year's Halloween kit. Finally, I ended with my title, the word Boo*Tiful. You can find my process here. Daisies, I hope you have a great Halloween!"
