A Simple Sentiment Can Say it All.

A Simple Sentiment Can Say it All.
Hello, friends! Quotes have the ability to spark creativity and provide the words that perfectly tell your story. The Peach Ridge Collection is filled with quotes, phrases, and silly sentiments that are bound to help you document your days. A personal favorite was the quote cards found in the Peach Ridge Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. Our creative team enjoyed using quotes from the collection to inspire their layouts.¬†   Aimee looked no further than the Peach Ridge Simple Dori for her perfect quote. Hi there Daisies! Today‚Äôs theme is "quotes" and it just so happens that the Peach Ridge Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit comes with a wonderful Peach Ridge Simple Dori that is full of beautiful patterned papers as well as you guessed it‚Äî quotes! While flipping through my Simple Dori I came across this page that said, ‚Äúhome is my happy place‚Äù and ain‚Äôt that the truth!? I immediately knew I needed to use this page and what better photo to accompany it than me in my pajamas and slippers, coffee cup in hand. Now, I wanted this page to be simple and I felt that no additional words were necessary for this spread. I simply wanted the quote and the overall mood of the photo to tell my story for me. Sometimes I think that less is more and this is definitely one of those instances! I chose circular embellishments in the same color family as my quote page to go inside of my coffee cups like a sun, scalloped label, and a chipboard circle, and then I topped it off with a sweet little heart. When I look at this layout it feels like sunshine and home! I challenge you to create a project based on a feeling that a quote might evoke in you! Happy crafting!     Carol used quotes to jog her memory as she worked on this project life spread. Hey, y‚Äôall! Catching up on my project life album from last year means, I am grappling a bit to recall specific details. What I did remember was needing to be organized in such a way to evoke cozy home-learning vibes for my kiddos.   When I paired these photos with the wonderful quotes included in the Peach Ridge Modern Memory Keeping Kit and Peach Ridge Memory Keeping Sticker Kit, everything fell into place.   I loved so many of them that I even snuck one on the photo of our homeschool space. ‚ÄúEnjoying the last days of Summer‚Äù is cut down from a 3x4 card included in the Modern Memory Keeping Kit. I also took a tab punch and made a tab for the middle page using a 3x4 card. The far right of the spread is just a lovely floral 6x8 paper without embellishments. That‚Äôs when you know how much you love a certain pattern paper, ha! I love how using other people's words to bring a spread together really sparks the memories made. Quotes really have the power to kickstart creativity.
Audrey found the perfect story to tell using this snarky sentiment.
Gone to the beach, be back never... yup that's a quote from the Peach Ridge Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit that describes me and a quote that I built this layout around. This outside of the page protector, 7x8.25 spread is actually super simple. I started with a piece of paper found in the memory-keeping kits as my background.
Because the paper was smaller than the size of my layout, I took another piece of paper that coordinated well to extend the sheet to fit my album. I then cut strips in varying sizes, running them down the page to create a fun pattern.
After I had my patterned paper, I popped my photo up using pop dots from my stash and found a journaling card from the Peach Ridge Modern Memory Keeping Kitthat fit my story well. I ultimately ended this layout by scattering some die cuts and chipboard in the same color scheme around the page. I'm loving this layout, mostly because it lets me live the memory of that awesome lobster over and over again. Happy summer!
