Winter Favorites with Let It Snow Kits
Marsha Farris: Winter Favorites
I enjoy documenting my family's favorite treats in my December album every year. A few years ago, we started making a hot cocoa bar area in our kitchen to enjoy during the winter season. I used the Let It Snow Collection to create a spread in my December album, documenting my little twist on my family's favorite treat.
To begin the project, I selected a red patterned paper to use as the background. I liked the "hot chocolate weather" pocket card from the Let It Snow Modern Memory Keeping Kit and wanted to use it to create a simple pocket. I trimmed the card to fit the page width, cut out a circle notch at the top of the card, and added adhesive along three sides before adhering it to the page.
I love the oversized tags from the Let Is Snow Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit and chose one to use in the pocket. Next, I printed my journaling on clear matte label sticker paper and added it to another pocket card from the Let It Snow Modern Memory Keeping Kit. Then, I adhered the card to the tag and added a bit of ribbon and twine to the top. I also did some stamping with the stamp from the Let Is Snow Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit.
For the other side of the spread, I added my photo and embellished the page with die cut stickers and a metal clip from a previous kit. To finish off the page, I added some stamping with the Let It Snow Memory Keeping Stamps.
I enjoyed documenting my family's favorite sweet treat using the Let Is Snow collection! Watch this spread come together in this Instagram Reel. Happy holiday crafting!
