Since the Cedar and Snow Scrapbooking Kit only included one alpha, I decided to create the words "a white Christmas" for my title using my Silhouette machine. I cut the words out from one of the rich red papers in the Cedar and Snow 12x12 Paper Add-on, which ended up working perfectly to match the red in the photo. I love how using my Silhouette allowed me to create a custom title that feels bold and festive. The textured look of the red paper gives the title a bit of extra depth, making it stand out even more on the page.

 

 

 

To bring that red color throughout the layout, I used red accents in small details—like the red polka dots, the ribbon graphics, and touches in the foliage. These pops of red give the page a cohesive feel and really draw attention to the title and photo. I added strips of red paper horizontally to ground the layout, balancing out the whole design and guiding the eye from the title down through the page.

    

This layout might be simple in terms of structure, but the careful use of red against the snowy white background adds all the holiday warmth I was hoping for. By keeping the embellishments light and focusing on the title and color scheme, I was able to highlight the festive feel without overwhelming the snowy, serene vibe of the photo.
