Using Specialty Paper from the Cedar and Snow Stationery Kit

Hello, friends!

The specialty papers from the Stationery Kit are always so fun to use in your paper crafting projects. The fun is finding unique ways to include them, like this idea below!

Kim Oedekoven: Using Specialty Paper from the Stationery Kit

Continuing the door theme for my planner for this fun project, I thought the snowflake vellum from the Cedar and Snow Stationery Kit would make the perfect door. Not wanting to waste the beautiful design by pasting it directly on the paper notebook paper, I cut two long slits to create a pocket for the back.

But first I needed to decorate my door with modern pink and green washi tape and wrap it like a present. After placing a wreath sticker on the front, I peeled the postcard in half and then cut it in half again to have just 1/4 of it under the vellum doors.

Since the vellum was threaded to the backside, I had the perfect pocket for some Secret Santa notes. Using both tags from the Cedar and Snow Stationery Kit, I adhered them together and placed some sticky notes on the backside.

I couldn't help but make the front cover just as lovely by using the remaining cut parts of the postcard and some of the lovely glitter stickers as accents.
