Using Planner Kits for Memory Keeping

Using Planner Kits for Memory Keeping
Hello, friends! Planning kits are great for planning, but did you know they also are lovely for memory-keeping? Today, I'm switching things up and using the planner items from the Wander Collection to document a day trip from last summer.

Switch it Up: Memory-Keeping with Wander Planner Kits

https://youtu.be/-uMdwofj-RM   Let's start with the foundation. I build this spread using the Wander Classic Vertical Inserts. I loved the illustrations on the inserts, it looked like I spent hours creating a collaged background with die cuts and stamps, when, in fact, it was already on the page! I used the washi from the Wander Planner Add-On Kit to cover the days of the week. The inserts are set up like a grid, making it easy to size and place photos within the grid. I think of it like a scaled-down project life layout or an unpocket page.¬† Most of this spread came together thanks to stickers from the Wander Planner Add-On Kit and the Wander Classic Sticker Kit. Between the two kits, I had plenty of boxes to add journaling, alphas for titles and word strips for photo captions. Let's not forget that the Wander Classic Sticker Kit is meant for these inserts, which means you can easily add bits of pattern from the collection with the decorative box stickers, perfectly sized for the columns.   The Wander Planner Add-On Kit came with TWO pockets and I utilized one to enlarge a photo I loved and put smaller photos on the back. The back of the photo was just right for a mini layout complete with a decorative box sticker from the Wander Classic Sticker Kit and a few strips of washi tape. I don't think I will ever tire of the washi tape from this collection! A final tip about journaling: If you don't like your handwriting or you want to maintain a more polished spread, consider typing and printing your journal on clear sticker paper as I have done here.   Share how you switch it up with your kits by tagging @cocoa_daisy on social media or posting to the Cocoa Daisy Fan Page.
