Hello Cocoa Daisy friends,
Today's design challenge is to create a layout with the TNMK instruction sheet as a guide. Christine's designs are simple and elegant and we truly enjoy seeing what Christine creates with the Cocoa Daisy memory keeping and planner kits! Let's begin with a design from DT member Casie who shows us the instruction sheets can be used in any memory keeping size or medium!
"Hi Daisy fans! I am excited today to bring you a sketch to layout idea. Each month Cocoa Daisy includes sketch ideas with the TN Memory Keeping Kit. (did you know you can also purchase these as a printable? The Serengeti instruction sheet is here, and To the Sea is located here.) For this design I used the Serengeti sketch."
"This month I took a travelers notebook sketch and translated it into a big happy planner layout. Following the sketch, I used 4 photos in a vertical grid on the right side of the layout. My son and husband went on their first father-son hike and he took 4 pictures so it worked out perfect for the story to tell."
"On the other side, I utilized the puffy alpha stickers from the TNMK for the main title and a rub-on sentiment for the subtitle. To make the journaling pop a little more, I backed it with one of the patterned papers. And I finished it off with zebra pattern stamping on the bottom using the gorgeously subtle gold ink."
"I am so excited how this layout came in the happy planner, adding another memory to a whole book of memories of our family's adventures! Thank you for joining me and please check out my video sharing the process to create this layout."
We love the way Casie used Christine's instruction sheet example to create her own unique layout. The subtle stamping in the margins of Casie's 2-page design is the perfect touch to bring both sides of this layout together. Next, we have a layout from Korrie-ann and she used the same sketch to document her distinct story. "Hello, today I am sharing this months sketch in my Simple Dori using the Serengeti kits."
"We had a fulfilled day in the garden while the sun was out, and as usual I spent the day snapping away. After choosing my favorite photos, I used the project life app to create a collage and printed them off for the right-hand page. I used two arrow die-cuts which I started out using on the right page and luckily I was able to peel them back up and move to the left side."
"I wanted my title to stand out from the zebra print so I used the cream Alpha stickers for Garden and then the black alphas for Fun. I used a die cut for the sub-title and cut then glued it in place under my title."
"I loved how the journaling card from The Pocket Memory Keeping Kit matched my page and it was already written in the narrow space down the edge of the card. This design provides the option to add more journaling if I wish."

Christine's instruction sheets are a great jumping off points for your memory keeping and they provide lots of little ideas to incorporate in your memory keeping documentation. We'd love to see what you are creating with our memory keeping and planner kits. Stay safe friends!
