Tip Tuesday: Layers with Wander Kits

Tip Tuesday: Layers with Wander Kits
Hello, friends! It's Tip Tuesday and we are sharing a few favorite ways to add layers to your memory-keeping designs using the Wander Collection. Add layers around your photos or even on top of them!

Ashley Horton: Tip Tuesday Layers

There are so many fun pieces in the Wander Collection, that are great for layering! I love to create layering in clusters on my layouts, and I did two layered clusters on this Traveler's Notebook layout.

I started my layout with one of the papers from the Wander Simple Dori in the Wander Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. I loved the word Explore along the side of it, and I added to it by stamping the word Dallas, with the alpha stamp set from the Wander Modern Memory Keeping Kit.

I love to use full-sized photos in my layouts and this one had some great white space, perfect for a layered cluster. When I create these types of layers, I like to use at least 2-3 different types of embellishments. In both of the clusters on this layout, I used a mix of adhesive die cuts, stickers, chipboard, and enamel dots. This is a great way to add variety to your layers.

Another tip for layering in your clusters is to vary your dimension. I like to have some flat embellishments that are adhered directly to my layout. And, I love to add pop dots behind some of the other ones to create dimension in the cluster. See this spread come together in this Instagram Reel. I hope you'll try out some layering with the Wander Collection on your next project!!
