Throwback Thursday with the Paperie Collection

Throwback Thursday with the Paperie Collection

Hello, friends!

The versatility of the Paperie Collection means you document just about any time of the year! Let's enjoy a "Throwback Thursday" to see this theory in action!

Natasha Pytlik: Memory Planning in the Daisy Planner

Today we are throwing it back to September 2022 as I work my way through my “backlog “ of memory planning layouts that are on the to-do list. I’m not stressing too much about being “behind” because, honestly, I think most memory keepers always have a running list of projects.

When I’m focused on this type of project I like to be intentional in setting the groundwork for three things:
1. Printing and trimming my photos ahead of time
2. Choosing a color palette that’s only focused on two main colors
3. Pre-selecting my supplies and keeping them within hands reach
Photo Prep
I use a Canon Selphy to print my photos and use the PicFrame app to make a collage for the desired size. Typically I will place my photos down first then add deco.

Colors

For this layout in my Daisy Planner, I went with the soft pink and mint green from the collection. As I am creating a spread in September with the Paperie Collection, I chose to stay away from patterns that felt too “Valentines" themed. All of Cocoa Daisy's collections have such beautiful colors to choose from, you can always use what colors you see in the photos as your jumping-off point.
Supplies
For supplies, I like to select only a few products and literally have them within my reach and keep the rest of the collection separated- this way I'm not overly tempted to play and use #allthethings. I also like to select products that can do some "heavy lifting." With low input, they make a large impact. I really like journal cards for the beautiful patterns and stamps for this reason. I used the stamp set found in the Paperie Modern Memory Keeping Kit to really bring my color palette to life as well as add some fun and spunk to the layout. If you have some "throwback" projects laying around I hope one or all three of these tips will help you get intentional and jump into your memory-keeping today.
