Hello, friends!
February is a great time to document the people and things we love and the Paperie Collectionhas all you need to get started!
Carol Weatherspoon: Small-Scale Scrapbook Layout
These are a few of my favorite things using the beautiful Paperie Collection. This collection has all the things that I absolutely love, a gorgeous color palette, fabulous die cuts, and rub-ons that I want to hoard!
I added my title to the beautiful floral patterned paper from the Paperie Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit using vellum so you can still see the lovely paper underneath. This helps the title stand out from the background without detracting from the gorgeous pattern. I included two photos along with a few die-cut pieces to keep my visual triangle intact.
Next, I used the text background from the Paperie Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit for my journaling and photo of my sweet daughter. Do you see that paint splatter toward the middle of the page? That's not the patterned paper, it's a rub-on from the Paperie Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit! It's hard not to hoard it, but it is always better to have it on a spread than stashed away for a later time. We often receive rub-ons in the memory-keeping kits, so go ahead and use them! A sweet die-cut bird was the perfect embellishment for my photo.
For my journaling, I layered it on top of the same patterned paper from the left side of the spread to tie my layout together. And, as you can see a few of my favorite things right now are my morning coffee, an awesome craft box made by yours truly, and my sweet volleyball player, definitely not in that order! When journaling about a theme, consider using a list format instead of a text block of journaling.
The Paperie collection just flows together so beautifully and can be used for so many of life's treasured moments.
