Start with Color: Doodles & Dashes II
Hello, friends! Changing seasons naturally bring color transitions, mimicked in the Doodles & Dashes II Collection. The color palette for this collection is a mix of earthy browns, yellows, and oranges along with muted blues, greens, and pinks. It is perfect for documenting seasonal or everyday memories. When working with this collection, you could easily focus on one color for a monochromatic design or sprinkle several colors throughout your layout. If you aren't sure where to start, choose an element from the collection to base your selection of color.

Carol Weatherspoon: Simple Dori Spread

It's all about color today and the Doodles & Dashes II Collection has a gorgeous color palette! The colors have a muted look and just give off a peaceful vibe. I chose a few photos from a lovely dinner with my family for this spread.     The colors in my photos were spot on! I used letter stickers, die cuts, and stamps from Doodles & Dashes II Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. Aren't you feeling all the fall vibes?! I decided to stick really closely to the palette in this collection with little red pops of color throughout.     I think the red just brings everything together in a really cohesive way. How do you like to use color? Are you bold and in your face or will a little dab do for ya?!

Veronica Milan: Memory Planner Spread

Hello My crafty Friends! Today I have a wonderful fall-filled memory planner spread. I started this page with COLOR! The colors in the Doodles and Dashes II Collection are DIVINE! I knew I needed to add yellow and browns with splashes of blue. Here's what I did. I used the black polka dot paper from the Doodles & Dashes II Modern Memory Keeping Kit and layered floral ephemera. I also used some stickers from the Doodles & Dashes II Planner Sticker Kit with the same colors.     I used some ink that matched the colors in this kit perfectly then stamped the pumpkin on. I love stitching throughout and added that nice touch!   I love that the alpha stickers from the Doodles & Dashes II Modern Memory Keeping Kit this month are a brown that matched the paper as well. I created a flip-up with some yellow vellum paper and layered the stickers and washi. I hope this inspires you to create some wonderful fall projects! Till next time!

Natasha Pytlik: Daisy Planner Spread

Like so many of you, I am thrilled about the return of the Doodles and Dashes II Collection! And I really love the added colors that are part of version 2.0. One of my favorite colors is coral and another favorite of mine is pink.   Once I saw the bright pink alpha puffy stickers found in the Doodles & Dashes II Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit, I wanted to have pink and coral be the main color focus of my memory planning layout in my Unbound Daisy Planner.     Even if it was an unintentional color addition (see this video!), it‚Äôs such a fun pop of color, especially for warmer weather climates like mine. I used some stamp details from the new Falling Into Sketches Class Bundle set along with some distressed oxide inks in Worn Lipstick to bring out the color pink throughout my whole layout which is something I like to do when I‚Äôm trying to highlight a specific color throughout both sides of my memory planning spread.     I balanced out the pink and coral with some warm brown and orange tones including some of whimsy floral embellishments. The washi tape detail at the top of my layout really helps unify all of these beautiful colors altogether. I can‚Äôt wait to play more with the colors of this kit.     Share your colorful spreads with us by¬†tagging @cocoa_daisy on social media or posting to the Cocoa Daisy Fan Page.
