Sometimes your photos are not of a similar size, so there is no better way to display them than a grid design. This helps you to balance the page as it provides symmetry to the page. The key is to work to match the proportions on both sides of the spread, think of it as blocks that can be moved around.

 

 

I used one of the designs in the 6x8 paper pad in the Snow Day Society Creative Kit to create the base for my grid. This will help frame the images and give you the right placement for other embellishments and pieces in the spread. I love the small cards in the kit, I auditioned a few until I had the one that fit perfectly inside the grid (the cards can easily be trimmed to fit) .

 

 

For the other side of the spread, I had a larger photo, and my solution to balance the spread was to set it to the top corner of the grid, then add a collection of embellishments from the Snow Day Society Creative Kit at the bottom to balance the space in the grid.

 

 

I used the space to the right of the grid to add my journaling and simple title using the alpha stickers included in the Snow Day Society Creative Kit. Finally, I added pops of glitter using the small glitter glue tube that comes in the kit and a few extra rub-ons.

I just love how this spread in my Snow Day Society SimpleDaisy Notebook came together with the Snow Day Society Creative Kit, and I am looking forward to seeing what you will create with it.
