Small-Scale Scrapbooking with Chapter of September Kits

Small-Scale Scrapbooking with Chapter of September Kits
 Hello, friends!

Scrapbooking is simple and sweet when you scale it down and use a notebook as your canvas.

Nathalie DeSousa: Small-Scale Scrapbooking with Chapter of September

Hello there! It’s Nathalie with you today to share a new idea for documenting your memories in your Chapters of September SimpleDaisy Notebook featuring the beautiful Chapters of September Creative Kit and the fun Chapters of September Stamp Set. You are going to love how this combination worked so nicely with your memories.

I chose a simple design for the background of this spread, as I wanted to bring lots of details and multiple photos. The blank page was the perfect canvas for my photos, while the patterned paper was subtle enough to showcase the details of the stamp and flowers.

I pulled pieces from the Chapters of September Creative Kit to add a small cluster to the top left corner of the photos. I wanted a larger cluster at the bottom of the pictures, and that banner and coffee cup were just the perfect elements to tell my story perfectly. I made sure that I repeated a few of the designs so that I could tie this spread together.

When it came to adding my journaling, I wanted to balance the size of the photos, which meant I could take advantage of the design in the stamp to create a large title. Using black ink and the Chapters of September Stamp Set, I went ahead and created my title on the top half of the page, making sure that it was all set to the left.

Next, I used the rub-ons in the Chapters of September Creative Kit to add a large floral to the right of the title, then added my journaling below it. A few of the stickers in the kit helped me complete the spread. I just love how this turned out in my Chapters of September SimpleDaisy Notebook! The Chapters of September collection is just what you need to document your memories. I cannot wait to see what you create with it. XO!
