Planning and Journaling in the Daisy Weeks Notebooks

Hello, friends!
Cocoa Daisy notebooks are great for planning and journaling. For this setup, I'm using the October Glow Daisy Weeks Notebook for these two purposes. But before we dive into the notebook, let's talk about the cover!
To decorate the notebook cover, I used the papers from the October Glow Planner Kit and the fun cards from the October Glow Creative Kit as my main embellishment. Decorating the cover always gets me excited about starting a new notebook, and is part of the reason I stick with this system (hello, novelty!).
The pocket of my Weeks Notebook cover also got an upgrade, thanks to items from the October Glow Planner Kit and a few bits and bobs from my stash, including past Cocoa Daisy Kits! This setup instantly puts me in a good mood, ready to scribble on my planning and journaling pages.
One of the great advantages of the blank grid pages in the Cocoa Daisy Notebooks is the ability to customize your planner layout. I love a vertical weekly, so I simply created this layout in my October Glow Daisy Weeks Notebook using stickers from the October Glow Classic Cousin Sticker Kit.
When I saw this ledger paper NEW paper pad in the October Glow Creative Kit, I knew it would be put to work on my weekly spread. It makes the perfect divided section for my lists including Meal Plan, and my "mini do's" (tasks that take less than 10 minutes to knock out but often get pushed to the back burner). I had to include a little stamped embellishment with the October Glow Stamp Set.
I even had room for my "paired task" and used the icons to make them pop. For this list, I pair a non-preferred task (laundry) with a paired task (going for a walk). Sometimes I need a little reminder to do this, hence the adorable list!
The rest of the notebook is dedicated to my weekly "Little Wins and Glimmers" tracking. Each day, I write a few little wins from the day and any glimmers that brought me joy or even just a smile to my face. An example would be choosing a walk over scrolling my phone (little win!) and find a beautiful while out on my walk (glimmer!). This practice has helped me quiet my inner critic and focus on the ways I am succeeding. I could write this anywhere but it is so much more FUN putting decorating the pages as I did here. Like the planning pages, I'm much more likely to return to them if they are a joy to look at. I love the collaged element on the right page using elements from the October Glow Planner Kit and the October Glow Creative Kit.
