Planner Inspiration with the Stationery Kit and Stamps
Hello, friends!

Have you ever tried a dashboard-style planner layout? Typically, this layout has the weekdays on one side of the page and an open page for notes and lists. If you love the dashboard-style layout, then you'll also love using the Chapters of September Stationery Kit and Chapters of September Stamps to embellish your pages.

Elizabeth Jorgenson – New Planner Layout Inspo with the Stationery Kit & Stamps!

Hello friends! Elizabeth here from @thejoyfulsojourn on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, sharing with you some ways to make your functional plans a little more sweet! It’s planner launch season, and you may be one of the many folks out there who picked up a new planner like this dashboard layout. But you may be a little unsure how to incorporate your love of decorative play and Cocoa Daisy kits into your functional plans. So let’s get into it!

Starting with the left page, we have our days of the week. Thanks to our Chapters of September Stamps this month, we can redate the days of the week with a fun font and relocate where they land on the page. This planner reads from left to right, but I used the stamps to run the days of the week down vertically. I changed the color of the ink for the dates for an extra pop. These two changes were simple and really transformed the page!
After redating with stamps, run washi tape and decorative stickers along the top and bottom margins of the page where you wouldn’t be writing anyway. Decorating in the margins is the best way to keep your planner functional while still making it look sweet.

The right page is your functional ‘dashboard’ for to-do lists. There are natural breaks in the different sections (blank box, bulleted lists, and lined notes), and that is where you want to lay your stickers and washi strips from the stationery kit. Notice how decorative elements continue to be confined to perimeters so we still have writing space.

This last decorative element is optional – the upper right corner of this planner layout includes a habit tracker section for 6 habits. Since I don’t need those trackers this week, I used a sticky note from the Chapters of September Stationery Kit to cover them up. I glued down the sticky note and used the stamp subscription kit from last month to spell out the month. I love that several recent stamp subscriptions have coordinated fonts with their collection! Happy planning, happy decorating, and we’ll see you next time!
