Simple Dori Saturday with the Umber and Gold Collection

It's another "Simple Dori Saturday" and for this month, we are featuring two gorgeous spreads from our Creative Team using the Umber & Gold Collection. We hope these designs inspire you to get crafty in your Umber & Gold Simple Dorias well. 
Aimee is embracing all things fall in her traveler's notebook spread.
"Happy "Simple Dori Saturday" Daisies! Today I’m sharing this Fall-tastic layout with you all. I did a spin on Christine's layout that was provided in the Umber & Gold TNMK Kit Instruction Sheet. I just loved how she layered the circular, “Autumn is my favorite” stamp over top of the mixed media patterned paper in the Simple Dori.
Rather than adding the same chipboard piece over top, I decided to place a chipboard pumpkin down in the center of the stamping and then layer another chipboard sentiment over top. Gotta love dimension!
I nestled in one of the beautiful gold vellum leaves from the Umber & Gold Modern Memory Keeping Kitand popped the “all things pumpkin” die-cut up on foam dots at the edge of my photo. I finished off the page with some gold splatter and what a perfect way to document a Fall cuppa! Happy creating!"

"It’s Marsha here today with my first post as a part of the Cocoa Daisy Creative Team! I absolutely adore all things fall and could not wait to use the Umber & Gold Collection to create a traveler’s notebook spread. This photo was taken on the first day of fall while visiting my local farmer’s market.
I am always drawn to the pages in the Umber & Gold Simple Doriwith a mixed media look and liked that the pattern was on both pages of the spread. I placed my photo on the left page and layered it over a library card from the Umber & Gold Classified Memory Keeping Kit. Next, I included die cuts and chipboard pieces from the Umber & Gold Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kitto embellish my photo. I also layered a rose gold vellum leaf behind the edge of the photo. It gives such a fun pop to the page!
For the other side of the spread, I wanted to create a line of falling leaves down the page. I added another vellum leaf from the Umber & Gold Modern Memory Keeping Kitto the top of the page and trimmed off the portion hanging off the edge.
I added several leaf die-cuts, along with some stamped leaves using the Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit stamp. A few chipboard hearts were the perfect finishing touch. I loved creating this fun fall layout using this gorgeous collection!"
