Hello, friends! The Umber & Gold Collection is the perfect way to transition our planners, journals, and memory keeping toward all things fall. Maybe you're like me, and your current locale still feels more like summer than fall. That's ok! This collection is sure to inspire all the fall cozy vibes and help you document this season, whatever that may look like. Our Creative Team is excited to share their design that features this gorgeous collection.¬† You know you love fall, like Jil, when you create an insert just for the season! "I began this spread made with the Umber & Gold Collection by adding burnt umber and metallic gold watercolor to a page in my fall TravelersNotebooks. I then layered my photo of stacked notebooks on top of several of the pretty papers from the kit. My favorite part of making this page, though, was playing with the leaf stamps from the Umber & Gold Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. They are so much fun to layer! After stamping and fussy-cutting them, I sprinkled the leaves across the spread in a diagonal line, leading the eye to my photo and journaling on a gold-rimmed label. My finishing touch: a gold paper clip wrapped with washi tape. I love the colors and fall warmth of this kit!"   April's photo and this collection are a match made in Umber & Gold Heaven! "I rarely have photos that match the theme so perfectly. This was a really fun page to make. I started by layering strips of the watercolor wash patterned paper from the Umber & Gold Simple Dori behind the photo. The strips are random sizes, with no real rhyme or reason to them. I used two scraps to mimic a mini layer on the left side. After splotching stamp ink, I adhered the strips of patterned paper and the photo. I loved the look and texture of the copper leaves from the Umber & Gold Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit but wanted a little more depth, so I scrunched them and adhered. Love the crinkled look and pop of texture. I finished with a simple sticker embellishment and alpha stickers. This was a quick and fun spread to create!"
