Setup Saturday: Spice Market Collection

Setup Saturday: Spice Market Collection
Hello, friends! It's "Setup Saturday" and today, we have planner setups featuring the vibrant Spice Market Collection. Our Creative Team walks through all the fun ways they spruced up their planners!

Laurie Grabarkewitz: B6 Rings Setup

I had a good time playing with the colors, patterns and textures in the Spice Market Collection. It was filled with jewel tones that speak to this very warm summer we are all experiencing. This month I mostly played with the dashboards from the Spice Market Planner Dashboard Kit. I like to use both the A5 and the personal size in my setup. I had fun with the Adobe house-themed dashboard by cutting open the shutters and placing one of the planner stickers behind it. I also took the personal-size dashboard, slid it into a clear pocket protector, added a sequin mix inside, and sewed it closed. I finished it off with one of the edgers from the Spice Market Planner Add-On Kit. I used all of the edgers and love how it looks from the side view.

Natasha Pytlik: Discbound Setup

Last month, I decided to give my tried and true planning system another go as I really missed discs. I have been using a bound planner for most of 2022, but it was time to switch things up.
One of the main reasons that I love discbound systems is because they are so customizable from the inserts, set up, and of course adding your own personal touch. I had some extra odds and ends from the Spice Market Collection after my memory-keeping projects and wanted to take some of my supplies to use in my planner.
As soon as the kit hit my mailbox, I was so excited to add a little spice to my planner this month using the Spice Market Collection! The collection has so many bright and bold colors to it, so I really enjoyed finding opportunities to include the black elements in my design to provide both balance and contrast.
For Cocoa Daisy fans who are Memory Keeping kit subscribers, there are so many great ways to use your kit items to add small but unique elements to your planner. For my main dashboard, I used a piece of patterned paper from the Spice Market Classified: Memory Keeping Kit, a journal card from the Spice Market Modern Memory Keeping Kit paired with embellishments from the Spice Market Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. The Journal cards are also fantastic for custom tags to fill your pockets with fun colors.

Hi all, I am so excited about the colors in these kits! They are vibrant and full of spice!
I decorated my planner pockets with the adorable Simon Clip from the Spice Market Planner Kit. I always use the title card in my pockets, along with any coordinating bows or clips, and cards, too! The Spice Market Classified: Planner Kit had an amazing sheet of vellum with the Mandela design that I folded in half and laminated to keep my extra stickers in. It is tucked in the large pocket of the planner.
True to type, I used the August planner dashboard from the Spice Market Planner Dashboard Kit for my "Hello, August" divider. Behind it is the "Month at a View." I added the tabs from the Spice Market Planner Kit to the top of my dividers this time. The Spice Market Planner Add-On Kit included a set of glitter edger stickers that I used to edge each of my dashboards!
I created a goals page using the magenta puffy alpha stickers and the stunning rub-on from the Spice Market Planner Add-On Kit.
This time I used the colorful 7 days on one page in one section before the divider with my weekly pages. Since the month started on a Monday, I used a 3x4 card from the Spice Market Modern Memory Keeping Kit to start the section.
The next section is started with the "Wild & Free" dashboard with some of the added stamp stickers from the Spice Market Modern Memory Keeping Kit.
I added stickers to the entire month so that it would be easy for me to plan ahead when needed. I keep the extra stickers in the vellum pocket at the front of my planner to use as needed. I love mixing the different alphabet stickers when I can!
The "Daily To-Do" section starts with the acetate overlay "Make a Plan" and a dashboard. I put some sticky notes from the Spice Market Planner Kit on the acetate so that I can have them with me and they can easily be added and removed.
The Spice Market Modern Memory Keeping Kit also has 4x6 inch cards and I love layering them in my planner for added interest.
Lastly, here is a view of the top of my planner so that you can see the index tabs and clips!
