Rings and Strings with Doodles & Dashes II

Rings and Strings with Doodles & Dashes II
Hello, friends! Last week, we embraced the discs with our planner setups, and this week we are showing love to "Rings" and "Strings"! The Ring bound inserts provide structured layouts including a dated monthly spread plus undated weekly and daily layouts. If you are looking for flexibility, the Daisy Dori is a completely blank canvas to work with!

Laurie Grabarkewitz: B6 Rings Planner Setup

The Doodles & Dashes II Collection is so fun to play with. I really liked how it highlighted the concept of gratitude throughout the collection's design. Did you notice how the colors and papers coordinate with the Autumn Thicket Collection and, of course, the previous Doodles and Dashes Collection? I chose my Kikki-K B6 rings planner to highlight all of the beautiful fall colors this month.     For my planner setup, I enjoyed using the papers from the Doodles & Dashes II Planner Kit and the Doodles & Dashes II Modern Memory-Keeping Kit to use for backgrounds for dashboards. I mounted the personal-size dashboards from the Doodles & Dashes II Planner Dashboard Kit on top. We received some library pockets in the Doodles & Dashes II Modern Memory-Keeping Kit which I put to good use to hold the cute gratitude notepad from the Doodles & Dashes II Planner Kit. You can never have too many pockets in my mind!     I have also enjoyed the new vertical layouts that come with the B6 inserts. They have been fun to decorate with the various stickers from the Doodles & Dashes II Planner Kit and the Doodles & Dashes II Planner Sticker Kit.   I decided to pare down my trackers this month and kept them simple but beautiful with the flower stickers and a little washi tape. I created yet another pocket by cutting down one of the dashboards and attaching it to some of the pattern paper. Even though I tend to set up my planner in a very similar manner each month, it always feels fresh and thanks to the variety that Cocoa Daisy provides us with each new collection.

Rachel Newman: Daisy Weeks Booklet and Dori Strings Setup

https://youtu.be/MuW6HKqt62o   I think I found my perfect pair: the Daisy Weeks Booklet with the Weeks Daisy Dori! I love having three months of monthly and weekly planning in one insert and a whole Weeks Dori insert for daily pages! I set up my monthly spread with the help of my favorite date stickers from the Doodles & Dashes Kit II Planner Add-On Kit and alphas from the Doodles & Dashes II Memory Keeping Sticker Kit. I used the "November" stamp from the Doodles & Dashes II Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit to repeat-stamp the month along the edge of the spread. To finish up, I decorated the bottom with rub-ons and stickers from the Doodles & Dashes II Daisy Weeks Sticker Kit, a must-have for planning in this size! Part of what I love about the Daisy Weeks 3 Month Booklet is the gorgeous bright white paper! Nothing against cream or off-white,¬†but something about bright white paper makes everything on the page really pop! And don't be afraid to use stickers from the Doodles & Dashes II Memory Keeping Sticker Kit and the Doodles & Dashes II Planner Sticker Kit in this tiny planner. The contrast of big and small elements is so fun! Daily planning in the Doodles & Dashes II Weeks Daisy Dori is almost too much fun! During the week, I typically use an hourly structure with a top-three list. By Friday, I tend to give myself a little more creative room to play. Here, I had fun with stamping, rub-ons, and stickers amidst the tasks and events.¬†       Share your "rings' and "strings" setup with us by tagging @cocoa_daisy on social media or posting to the Cocoa Daisy Fan Page.
