Rainbow Designs with the Confetti Wishes Collection

Rainbow Designs with the Confetti Wishes Collection
Hello, friends! Something that may have caught your attention from the Confetti Wishes Collection was all the bright, gorgeous colors greeting you. To celebrate all the beautiful hues, we asked our Creative Team to create with color in mind. Let's see how they incorporated a rainbow of color in their layouts. Natasha played up the rainbow palette by using tone-on-tone stamping.
I love the patterned striped paper of bold and beautiful colors from the Confetti Wishes Collection! Today, I am putting this layout together primarily using this patterned paper from the Confetti Wishes Classified: Memory Keeping Kit along with the brand new Confetti Wishes Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set, another favorite new product of mine, which is available in the Daisy Store.
Using a rainbow of inks from my stash, I used primarily 3 different stamps from the stamp set to create a cascading edge of whimsical florals on the left side of my patterned paper. I used inks that were the same color as the stripe of paper (tone on tone technique) to create a detailed but subtle look. I used an assortment of embellishments to accent the beautiful rainbow of colors in this stunning pattern paper.
To finish this layout, I used some of the black and white floral embellishments to provide contrast to the bright colors on this layout while also providing your eye a rest. This is personal preference but I recommend giving it a try on your next rainbow-inspired layout to provide that balance.

Traci also played with contrast using black and white photos to make the rainbow of embellishments pop.
I knew that pairing a rainbow with my black and white kittens would be a stunning contrast. When I gathered these photos of them being my "nurses" while I was sick in bed, I knew that I wanted to make an embellishment heart with all the fun die cuts and rub ons in the Confetti Wishes Collection.
Bonus: all those snails really fit with the lazy mood!
I started by sorting all my diecuts by color and then arranging them in a heart shape on my layout, and then I added in rub ons and finally filled in empty spaces with enamel dots. The finishing touch was a title to frame the heart using the black alphabet!
