If you are looking for a FUNctional way to visualize your goals for the month, try Audrey's Crafty Mind Map.
"Happy New Year Daisies!! I am starting off my January plans with a Crafty Mind Map using the stunning Confetti Wishes Collection. This collection has so many vibrant colors to make 2022 start so bright.
I start my crafty mind map with a central focus that serves as the subject for my mind map, in this case, my goals and to-do list for the month of January. The box stickers in the Confetti Wishes Memory Keeping Sticker Kit are just perfect for this.
After, I place stamps, stickers, die cuts, and rub ons all around the page group in order of my goals, my to-do list, and important events. As a tip, the sticker sheet in the Confetti Wishes Planner Kit has important dates on the bottom. This always helps with my to-do list.
Finally, I link all of the items in each category to my central focus theme which is January. Once the main categories are linked, I then link the categories together, for ones that overlap. Mind maps help me focus on what needs to get done for the month and the crafty mind map, with the Confetti Wishes Collection, makes the chores just a wee bit easier. Cheers everyone!"
I'm no stranger to a "planner stack" and for the last year, my planner lineup has included three planners: a catch-all planner for everyday items, a memory planner, and a memory journal. The memory journal was new to my lineup and was a wonderful place to do memory keeping without photos. This year, I'm bringing the memory journal back, but with a twist!   The planner I used last year was not available, so I decided to create my own memory journal - bullet journal style! I repurposed a notebook from my stash and will create my own monthly and weekly spreads. I am no artist, so unlike many of the beautiful bullet journals I have seen, I will be relying upon Cocoa Daisy Collections to do the embellishing for me.   For January's setup, I used the Confetti Wishes Collection, with a focus on the various stamps, stickers, and rub-on's to add a little whimsy to my monthly pages. I opted for a "month on one page" calendar format, as I only reference this to know the dates. I made little washi strips using the Confetti Wishes Memory Keeping Stamp Sets by stamping onto sticker paper and fussy cutting the image.¬†   On the opposite page, I simply adhered to the page a card from the Confetti Wishes Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. Planner pages don't have to be complicated to be impactful! I decided to put all the monthly spreads in the front, separate from the weeklies. I created a divider for the weekly section using paper from the Confetti Wishes Classified: Memory Keeping Kit,¬†alpha stickers from the Confetti Wishes Memory Keeping Sticker Kit, and die cuts from the Confetti Wishes Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit.   The quote bubble was very fitting for this planner setup! One of the great things about a bullet journal is the opportunity to experiment with weekly layouts. Here, I did a traditional vertical layout, with watercolored florals. To create this look, I painted circles in three places on the spread and stamped over the circles using the Confetti Wishes Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set.¬†   I finished off the floral clusters with washi strips from the Confetti Wishes Memory Keeping Sticker Kit. I wanted to set myself up for success in this new-to-me format, I laid the foundation for two weekly spreads. I knew I wanted to use the grid stamp from the Confetti Wishes Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit to mark the days of the week, and I love how it turned out! I used a masking technique with washi tape for the January stamp and used the chevron stamp to create an ombre effect with inks under the January title. To finish off the page, I included some rub-ons, washi, and a quote sticker. I am now even more excited to jot down all my memories in this planner.¬†Check out my YouTube Channel to watch me put this spread together! How are you preparing your planners for 2022?
