Stamping Saturday with the Confetti Wishes Collection
Hello, friends! It's "Stamping Saturday" and if you love stamping, then the Confetti Wishes Collection is the one for YOU! With three ‚Äòa la carte‚Äù stamp sets, there were SIX sets in this collection. To get a better feel for the stamps and a few quick ideas, check out Christine‚Äôs video below. Do you choose a word to work with for the year? Mine is "transition" and the bright colors and whimsy stamps of the Confetti Wishes Collection are just perfect to introduce my word into my world. I started this 12x12 layout using one of the papers from the Confetti Wishes 12x12 Scrapbook Kit. I added some mixed media from my stash running from right to left down the page.   Once the mixed media was dry, I added some of the whimsical paper airplane stamps from the Confetti Wishes Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit around the page. I then colored them in using the colored pencils from the Confetti Wishes Classified: Memory Keeping Kit. How rad is that? I added a tail using the pen from the Confetti Wishes Planner Kit. You could totally use some of the rub ons or the cute stencil in the collection if you didn't want to hand draw them. I ended my stamping with a few encouraging sayings above my photo to the right.     Finally, I added a few embellishments from the collection around the page to pull everything together. I put my word transition using the puffy stickers from the collection, I added a sticker from the Confetti Wishes 12x12 Scrapbook Kit and a bird with glasses rub-on on the 3x4 journaling card from the Confetti Wishes Modern Memory Keeping Kit. How will you use the stamps in your layouts? I can't wait to see it!" I like to think of stamps as my crafty love language and wanted to leave you with 3 ideas for using stamps in your planner, journal, and memory keeping spreads 1. Add fun and function to your planner pages. Stamps are a staple in my planning system. I love how easy it is to add checklists, icons, date,s and even add a bit of whimsy amidst your tasks and events. Here, I used the washi builder stamp set from the Confetti Wishes Planner Add-On Kit to create a row of boxes with quotes and phrases inside. I used stamps from the Confetti Wishes Memory Keeping Stamp Sets to add a functional meal plan on my sidebar and mark blog posts with the camera icon. That bird chirping about Monday also needed to be included, too! 2. Pair stamps with colored pencils, paint, and markers in your journal. I typically stick to black ink, so I love having the option to add color to stamping in a variety of ways. This was a little easier this month, thanks to the cute little colored pencils from the Confetti Wishes Classified: Memory Keeping Kit that I used to add color in the above planner spread. But I also played with watercolors and stamps in my memory bullet journal. I began with blobs of watercolor paint and once it was dry, I stamped directly on top. 3. Personalize your pocket pages and design your own die cuts. Stamps are a great easy (and flat!) embellishment for journal cards as I have done here. I used a masking technique with the florals from the Confetti Wishes Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set to make a large embellishment for the 4x6 Confetti Wishes Pocket Cards. To make the die cuts, I stamped on paper from the Confetti Wishes Simple Dori and fussy cut the image.   No need to worry about running out of your favorite die cuts when you can make them yourself! I have lots more to share in my stamping techniques video, so make sure to give it a look.
