Hello, friends!

Did you see the fun film strip embellishments in the Dandelion Wishes Collection? We love them and want to share unique ways to add them to your layouts.

I love challenging myself to use particular products in interesting ways, so when I was tackling these film strips in the Dandelion Wishes Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit, I knew I didn't want to use them as film strip frames. I decided to use them in lieu of patterned paper strips to frame my composition.

They were a great way to lead the eye around the page, similar to the patterned chevrons, without adding more patterns and textures to the composition.
I made sure to frame all of my photos across the page with them and then also my tag for journaling in the top right corner to create some symmetry across the page
By using just the yellow film strips, it gives continuity throughout, joining both 6x8 pages together into one cohesive spread!
