Rachel Newman: Mini File Folders for Memory Planning
I love products that are versatile and provide extra space on my memory planning spread. These mini file folders from the Nordic Skies Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit fit the bill! I incorporated three in this spread and each serve a different purpose.
I utilized the file folder on Wednesday to tuck a few extra photos from the day. I also use the outside for my title cluster using the Nordic Skies Memory Keeping Stamp Sets and puffy alphas from the Nordic Skies Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit.
For photo tabs, I used a traditional tab from the Nordic Skies Planner Add-On Kitand a transparent star, adhered with a staple.  The star tab helps secure the photos when they are tucked inside the pocket.
The Thursday file folder was adhered on three sides to create a pocket. This provided the perfect space for some hidden journaling that I wrote on a DIY tag, created with an older stamp set. I love how the pattern of the file folder is its own embellishment, while still leaving space for a title, too.
The Friday file folder was included as an interactive element with hidden photos inside. To create it, I simply adhered the back of the file folder to the page and not the front flap. For some security I stapled one of the transparent stickers creating a flap for the front. I also included some journaling directly on top of the folder, too.
Here is a peek at the inside! A pretty simple design with a photo, a label sticker from the Nordic Skies Classic Sticker Kit, and some stamping embellishment. I loved using these file folders and hope it inspired you to use them, too! Want to learn all about Memory Planning and how to get started?
