Pretty Papers and Pocket Cards from the Gather Collection

Subscribers to the Cocoa Daisy Memory Keeping Kits rely on the gorgeous papers and pocket cards in each collection to help their stories. The Gather Collection features a variety of pattern papers with a rich mustard yellow, calming blues, and even purple. The pocket cards are a favorite for many memory keepers, with their mix of fun filler cards and functional journal cards complete with prompts to help get you started. Our Creative Team is excited to share their love of the papers and pocket cards with you today. Let's see what they created!

"I had so much fun with this one. Alllllll the layers. I used pieces of the trimmed Gather SimpleDori layered behind the photo. I wanted to add layers with the pocket cards and love the look of random edges, sizes, and alignment.
I cannot wait to share all the layers of this page, but they all started with the white bag that came in the Gather Classified: Memory Keeping Kit and little leaf embellishments.
I washi taped it in and then adhered pocket cards and photos. Finally, I used the alphas to note the things for which I am especially grateful for this month."
As a resident pocket page scrapbooker, Odessa always inspires us with pocket card designs.
"Pocket cards are always my favourite! Pocket page scrapbooking will always be my favourite, I love stuffing things in those little sleeves. The deep cool colours of the Gather Collection are so appropriate right now and go great with some photos I just got printed.
Once I have my photos together for a page I set the tone with some pocket cards. Here I picked two with phrases on them from the Gather Modern Memory Keeping Kit that kept the story from my photos going.
I then embellished with various stickers and die cuts from various Gather Collection. And finished it off with a fun touch! I’m not much of a mixed media person so when I realized the stencil from the Classified: Memory Keeping Kit was 3x4 so I laid it over a simple photo to make my own journal card!"
We love how Aimee takes the cards out of the pocket for a grid-style layout.
"I don’t know about you but I love finding new ways to use pocket cards besides in page protectors. One thing pocket cards are great for is making grid-style layouts which is exactly what I’ve done here! I chose two photos and two cards from the Gather Modern Memory Keeping Kit and laid them out in a grid inside my Storyline Chapters notebook.
I absolutely love that mustard color in the Gather Kits and think it looks amazing accented with blues! I turned the “daily life” 3x4 into an actual tag for added interest and embellished the other filler card with floral and phrase diecuts.
I added a tab and a flip-up for my journaling about these adorable photos. There are so many ways to use pocket cards and the Modern Memory Keeping Kit makes it so easy to find the perfect cards for your story!"
