Hello!
Today our design team is focusing on memory keeping in pocket pages with our Up and Away kits. Odessa is will start us off with her project life layout.
"So much colour!!! I just love all the bold colours in the Up & Away kits and used a mix of them on this pocket page layout."
"I started with some cheery photos and journal cards from the Memory Keeping Pocket Kit. Next I added die cuts, stickers, rub-ons and more for a wonderful mix of all the colours in the Pocket, Traveler’s Notebook, Memory Keeping Sticker and Memory Keeping Classified kits!"
"I dressed up the rainbow 4x6 card with some puffy alphas and little stickers placed just right. I also used some rub-ons from the Memory Keeping Classified kit to add borders and fill in some blank spaces. So fun!"
"The Classified kit has some great stickers and it's always so fun to see what’s inside. There are always great embellishments that really add to how awesome the kits already are."
Odessa's rainbow title card is super cute and a fun way to "dress up" a pocket card. Next we have an 8.5x11 pocket page from Sabrina.
"For this project I wanted to document some recent me time. I went with an eclectic design using lots of patterned papers, layering and tearing them, mixing different pieces of the pocket kit and classified kit."
"My pocket page is 8.5x11 so I had to make the journaling cards work for me. I chose two vertical 3x4 cards and layered them on 5.25x3.5 paper mats using coordinating papers in the Up & Away kits. This allows me to not only use the journaling cards, but to also bring in more colors and papers."
"A fun thing I tried with this design is using more stickers and using them as a main embellishment. The stickers are from the Classified Kit which featured Amy Tangerine designs. I used 2 word plus several of the floral stickers on my layout. I love how they add lots of colors and big impact to my pocket page."
"Overall I love the way this pocket page came together and how the various products complement each other in my documentation of this much needed me time break!"
Sabrina's custom pocket cards are a wonderful of example of using memory keeping and planner papers in your kits to fill unique pocket page configurations. Stickers are a great way to compliment your documentation by adding a special touch to your journaling, accenting a photo or creating clusters like Sabrina and Odessa did on their pocket cards.
We enjoy sharing our design team's beautiful layouts as well as their tips and tricks. In fact, this past weekend the design team hosted a "pocket crafting" day in the Cocoa Daisy Fans Facebook group. You'll find lots of pocket page inspiration by searching in the group using the #pocketcrafting hashtag. We'd love to see your pocket pages too and invite you to share them in the Facebook group or by tagging @cocoa_daisy on social media.
Happy pocket crafting!
