I love using the letters in the Chapters of September Deluxe Journaling Kit to make important days or things stand out on the page. For this week, I used them to write down all my planned dinners, called out my birthday, and highlighted a trip we took over the weekend. The letters help draw my eye immediately to them when I open my planner, which I love.

 

Having the days/dates at the top is an extra layer of color to add to your planner. These would be great in an undated planner, but I have also come to enjoy using them to make them stand out more.

 

Since I don't use my planner the way it's intended, I love layering washi tape on the lines I draw to divide up all the sections. It's a simple way to add more color without taking up a ton of space on the page.

 

  

The PET stickers from the Chapters of September Deluxe Journaling Kit are my favorite to use in my planner because they blend right in to the page and don't add a ton of bulk - I am not a fan of a chunky planner. Once the week is over and filled out, if I have leftover stickers or tape, I will add some more for added color.

Just remember, planning can be fun too!
