One Kit Memory Keeping using the Koi Pond Collection

One Kit Memory Keeping using the Koi Pond Collection
Hello, friends!
Are you ready for a "One Kit" Challenge? We asked our creative team to use one kit to get crafty with. Let's see what they created!
Renee used the Koi Pond Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit to make a fishing trip mini album!
I have been scrolling thru Instagram admiring all the fun and creative ways people are decorating their Traveler’s Notebooks. I have created a few pages here and there but have never filled an entire Notebook. We just recently came back from a fishing holiday and I thought the Traveler’s Notebook would be a great way to document our trip; this month’s Koi Pond theme was perfect! The Traveler’s Notebook and all the supplies used for this project came from the Koi Pond Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. To start I added the ‘just relaxing’ card to the first page of the notebook to work as a title page for our trip. I added one of the cardstock koi fish stickers in the top left corner to add more color to the black and white fish that was already there. I printed my photo with a border around it to make it stand out more on the page. I used the stamp that came with the kit to add HERE&NOW to one of the cardstock tabs then placed it behind my photo before adhering it to the page.
On the left side of the layout, I used the rub-on sheet to add a koi fish to the bottom corner before adding the black die-cut alphas to spell out the name of the lake we went to. To add a bit of dimension I added a few of the blue enamel dots around the fish.
This was my first attempt at printing my text thru my computer onto Vellum sticker paper. I measured out the size of the text box I needed and then used Illustrator to create the text box and fill it with my journaling. When I was done adding my journaling I went back and added the ‘a perfect getaway’ cardstock sticker to complete my layout.
I am really looking forward to filling in the rest of the Notebook with all our holiday adventures.
Marsha also documented a fun fishing adventure and used the Koi Pond Modern Memory Keeping Kit to create her spread.
Using a kit is a great way to create a quick and easy layout because all the products coordinate perfectly. The project I'm sharing today focuses on the beautiful Koi Pond Modern Memory Keeping Kit.
I began this traveler's notebook layout in my travel album using puffy alpha stickers and the General Store Alpha Stamp Set to create the title. The fun embossed puffy koi fish stickers and glitter enamel dots were perfect for framing the title. I also added a rub-on and a bit of stamping with the Koi Pond Modern Memory Keeping Kit stamp.
I created a pocket on the reverse side of the page to hold a 3x4 pocket card trimmed into a tag shape. Then, I added one of the embossed puffy stickers to the tag, along with my typed journaling. I love this interactive tag element!
I kept the right page of the spread really simple by including a full-page photo. I added a koi fish rub-on and white foam stickers to the picture to complete the page. This was such a fun layout to create using the Koi Pond Modern Memory Keeping Kit

One sticker kit is all Natasha needs for her creative journaling pages.
To stay consistent with my morning journaling practice, I always select a set of materials and put them aside for the week. This way they are easy to grab, especially when I’m working with limited time. I really like to use my Cocoa Daisy Sticker Kits for my journaling pages.
I like to staple my sticker kits together, an idea I originally got from our very own Rachel Newman. At the end of the month, I remove the staple and punch the sticker kit with a disc-bound punch and store them on discs to be able to use in the future. I’ve created a great CD sticker album in doing this!
My favorite Cocoa Daisy sticker kit for my Creative Meditation Journal is the Memory Keeping Sticker Kit. This specific sticker kit has a really great balance of both decorative elements and more functional designs like label stickers. Plus there’s always a great alpha which is one of my favorite ways to add a highlight to one of the daily mantras. Another favorite of mine is to use some of the big box stickers from the kit and tear them into different-sized pieces to give my journal layout some texture!
One kit can go far! It’s so fun to see all the different ways I can use the kit in my journaling spreads.
