One Kit, Four Ways

One Kit, Four Ways
Hello everyone! How can we be almost halfway through September? School has started here and sadly, for me, the days of summer feel like they are slipping away. One thing that cheered my spirits this month is the absolutely gorgeous Solstice kit. I am so in love with the rich colors and the fun motifs. Today, I'm going to share how I used the kit to create several unique spreads in my Weeks planner. One thing I love to do is mix things up so that each spread feels different from the other. I usually do this by choosing a specific theme or monochromatic color scheme. The Cocoa Daisy kits are so great since there is so much variety in them. Let me show you what I do... This first spread focuses on the beautiful raspberry/pink tones from the kit. I chose to use the days of the week stickers that have the pink stars. Next, I used some of the vellum strips along the bottom. I choose my stickers and found that lots of the florals had this color tone in them. There are always half or quarter boxes that fit my color scheme. And of course I found the bullet list to coordinate. I created some planner clips this month using chipboard that I covered with Diamond Gloss. Aren't these colors gorgeous? Next up is my blue spread. There are so many beautiful blue elements this month. I used the blue washi with stars along the top and another velum washi strip along the bottom. I used the alpha stickers for the days of the week and more boxes and bullet lists. The glitter stars from the star strips worked perfectly on here, as well. As you can see, I have another homemade chipboard planner clip on here. I love adding strips from the Weeks sticker kit and placed one on the bottom left page here. The next spread looks a lot lighter! I chose to go with the gold/yellow tones. The washi tape is so pretty and the metallic aspect is really hard to capture in a photo. I used the days of the week stickers with the yellow stars and chose mostly star or sun motifs for this spread. There is another one of my chipboard clips along the top. I couldn't find tracker stickers for this spread, so I made my own using the alpha stickers. I'll color in one box below for each day of the week that I meet my goal. The final spread I'm sharing with you today focuses on the beautiful florals. I chose the gorgeous floral washi and added all of the colors from the kit to the pages. The consistent factor is the florals and the multi colored aspect. As you can see, I was able to create four very different looking spreads all using this month's kits! I love mixing things up and always have fun going through my supplies trying to come up for a theme each week. How do you create your planner pages. Do you like them all to match? Or are you always looking for something new and different? Thanks for stopping by and Happy Planning!
