One Items Three Ways with the Elegance Blooms Collection

One Items Three Ways with the Elegance Blooms Collection
Hello, friends! We have another edition of "One Item: Three Ways" where we ask the Creative Team to choose one item and find three ways to utilize it in their memory-keeping projects. This is a fun challenge that we encourage you to do as well. It helps you breathe new life into your kits, especially items you might struggle to use. Let's see what our team has created!   For Traci's One Item: Three Ways, she decided to work with the ledger heart die cuts from the Elegance Blooms Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit! [gallery size="full" link="none" ids="819211,819213,819215"] "I created 3 layouts with them used in different ways to show off how versatile they are. For my first layout, I created my own background using the hearts in various colors on white cardstock, nestling the bottom heart over the top of my photo to bring it up from the background a little and create an unexpected look. [embed]https://youtu.be/azFAaUZTDc4[/embed] On to layout number two! On my second layout, I used the hearts as bases for embellishment clusters on the vibrant chevron paper. I love how these neutral hearts interact with the bright paper and give the embellishments somewhere to "sit‚Äù. [gallery columns="2" link="none" size="full" ids="819216,819215"] Finally, for my third layout, I used the hearts as a pull tab for a hidden card behind my photo, embellishing simply with a word strip so you would know there was more to see!" Did you know that you can subscribe to just the Memory Keeping Pocket Cards? "I created one 9x12 pocket page spread with the Elegance Blooms Modern Memory Keeping Kit, but I used the 3x4 cards in three different ways.   The first way: I dressed up the filler cards (Up to Snow Good and Love This) with snowflakes die cut from papers in the Winter Twilight Collection. I also added a little stitching and a striped chipboard heart from the Elegance Blooms Modern Memory Keeping Kit to one of these cards.   The second way: I stamped, journaled, and dressed up the journaling cards with washi tape from the Elegance Blooms Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. This helped me document details from the week and bring in the deep pistachio color from the kits. The third way I used the 3x4 cards: I chose to cut one card into flag strips to scatter around my page, stamping dates and hearts on them. This helped me evenly distribute all the shades of pink in the kit. It also allowed me to turn a card into a repeating embellishment to provide design cohesiveness. I love the versatility of Cocoa Daisy kits, and it's always fun to use the contents in different ways to create different effects. Make sure to check out this video where I share more detail and an up-close look at the completed cards" [embed]https://youtu.be/WpzvvwYyteU[/embed]   What great ideas!
