Setup Saturday with the Elegance Blooms Collection
By Cocoa Daisy
Hello, friends!
Are you ready for February? Maybe you are in the midst of setting up your planner for the next month. If so, we wanted to share a little planner inspiration from our Creative Team using theElegance Blooms Collection.
We welcomed Karma to the 2022 Creative Team as our resident Hobonichi planner! Here is her February monthly set up in my Hobonichi Weeks.
"I used elements from the Elegance Blooms Daisy Weeks Sticker Kit and Elegance BloomsCalendar Daisy Weeks Sticker Kit. I loved the floral washi from Elegance Blooms Planner Kit so much. I cut out the February header sticker so it would be highlighted behind it! I love how it gave the monthly sidebar an almost 3-D effect. This is a big month - celebrating my husband's 50th birthday - what a perfect kit to bring in the romance of the month!
I've set up the first week in February in my Hobonich weeks using key pieces from the Elegance Blooms Daisy Weeks Sticker Kit and the washi again from Elegance Blooms Planner Kit (it's really my fave!). I also made a place holder/inbox/pencil board for the month using one of the personal size dashboards Elegance Blooms Day Planner Dashboard Kit and a die-cut tab from the Planner Kit - love it!
For the 2nd week in February, I used rainbow ombre washi from the Elegance Blooms Classified: Planner Kitto border the top and bottom of my pages. I did a little sticker surgery on some of the gorgeous florals to create fun vertical borders and I also flipped the weekly tracker sticker on its side to set up my weekly habits grid. This spread will be so fun to fill up with all the nooks of space to use!"
Traci may be a memory keeper at heart, but she loves a beautiful planner setup as well. Guess, what? We love your setup, too!
"This year, I am using my planner as a place to not only plan but also track my goals and journal a little bit. For my second month in a row, I created an intro dashboard for the month with an inspirational quote + the Elegance Blooms Printable Tracker found in the Digital Downloads section of The Daisy Store.
For the quote page, I used stamps from my stash + stickers and alphas from the Elegance Blooms Collection for the words, then surrounded the quote with die cuts, stamps, and stickers.
I printed out the Elegance Blooms Printable Tracker, which had a ton of fun black and white doodles that I printed on clear sticker paper to decorate with. I didn't need all 3 rows for the tracker, so I covered up the bottom row with papers from the kit and stamped the month, finishing off with a floral die cut!"
I, too, am all set up for February with the Elegance Blooms Collection both in my creative space and in my memory bullet journal.
But to get set up for February, I have to put away a previous month's collection. In this video, I share my process of sorting and storing a previous collection in order to get display the current collection.

Once the current collection is organized, I start setting up my memory bullet journal. II have this planner inside a notebook cover and I loved decorating the pockets with die cuts from the Elegance Blooms Collection.
I shared in a previous post my goals for this little planner. It is a blank dot grid notebook, which means I have to build my monthly and weekly spreads, For the monthly spread, I used a page from the Elegance Blooms Simple Dori (which I trimmed down the middle and made into a paper pad) as the background for my page and a place to add the month name. I used alpha stickers from the Elegance Blooms Modern Memory Keeping Sticker Kit to spell out "February" and to initial the days of the week on the calendar. Above the month, I stamped "Hello" from the Winter Twilight Memory Keeping Stamp Sets. Stamping in a bound book can be tricky, but not impossible. To make a flat surface, I simply slid my ink pad under the cover, leveling the page perfectly. I finished up with number stickers from the Elegance Blooms Planner Add-On Kit and some layers with stamping and washi.
To keep on top of weekly documenting, I laid out my weekly spreads for the month. For the first three weeks, I used stickers from the Elegance Blooms Planner Add-On Kit layered on top of number stamps from a previous collection. For the final week, I switched it up and layered together two different stamps set from previous collections. The lines for each day were drawn with the pen Elegance Blooms Planner Add-On Kit. I think I prefer the gray line instead of black, so I will definitely use this pen again for creating my weekly spreads.
