Off The Page Projects with the Forest Friends + Video
By Cocoa Daisy
Hi everyone.
Tanti is here. Today I’m sharing some off the page projects, using the Cocoa Daisy exclusive stamp set Forest Friends.
I love this set so much because all of the cute critters that Linou’s Pots has designed and I felt so inspired to create some non planner related projects using the stamps.
For all the projects, I coloured in all images using water based markers.
A little tip for making projects using stamps:
Stamp every image that you want to use multiple times. Just in case you messed up at colouring in.
If you have never worked with clear stamps before, I have a basic how to video at the end of this post.
The first project I created is a birthday card.
I painted the background using watercolours. Then I die cut the white fences out of a white cardstock using a cutting die. Then put all the stamp images together.
The next project I created is these three mini wall decorations.
The frames are the mini bamboo stitching rings.
I wraped all the inside rings with washi tapes and I painted some patterns on all the outside rings using acrylic paints.
As the background I used the patterned papers from the planner main kit and from the pocket memory keeping kit.
The last project I made is an autumn theme shadow box frame. It‘s a table decoration for my craft room.
I painted the background using watercolours.
At the bottom of the frame I put some sequins from last month’s kit, to make it look like some leaves lying on the ground.
Well that’s all for today. I hope you like the idea.
