To begin the layout, I stamped ’09’ using the General Store Large Number stamp and a dusty blue ink. I loved the colorful "September" rub on in the Marigold & Honey Journaling Kit and thought it would be perfect for the title. I added it, and then included some vellum alpha stickers from the kit. I selected more rub ons and layered them over the stamped numbers. To complete the title area, I added a stamped phrase with the Marigold & Honey Scrapbooking Kit stamp and black ink.

 

 

  

I added some stamping at the bottom and the top of the page using the Marigold & Honey “Creative Play” stamp and two ink colors. This stamp set works so well for layering and adding texture to a design.

 

 

 

The torn-edge vellum stickers from the Marigold & Honey Journaling Kit are always one of my favorite embellishments. I wanted to use them in a different way, so I trimmed pieces from several of the patterns and created a layered patchwork design along the top and bottom of the layout. It frames the page perfectly, and I just love how it turned out!

 

   

 

To finish, I added more rub ons from the Marigold & Honey Journaling Kit to a few areas. This was such a fun planner page to make, and I hope you are inspired to create with the lovely Marigold & Honey collection!
