Hello, friends!

Check out this fun idea for using the vellum from the Marigold & Honey Stationery Kit.

Kim Oedekoven: Fun with Vellum and the Marigold & Honey Stationery Kit

A lot of the time I look at not just how beautiful the vellum is I look at the designs. The type of designs and how it's made is often my source of inspiration. While there are plenty of pretty flowers on this vellum from the Marigold & Honey Stationery Kit, one in particular stole my heart.

With it's droopy flowers I wanted to give my page the same treatment. So I freehand cut a larger and smaller flower to place on my pages and used a marker to draw the stems and attachment pieces and thought carefully about where to place them to optimize the planning space.

Underneath the flower I traced around an acrylic stamping block to create a rounded box to create a home and work task lists. On each page I placed a day sticker and a couple deco stickers which also come in the Marigold & Honey Stationery Kit.

Even if a leaf sticker is meant to be a decorative element, I like to look at things in a different way! Why not use it as a way to underline this header. Using things in an unconventional way really is a great idea for those who would like a decorative planner but also have one that needs and wants to function as a planner.
