One of the best ways to extend the life of your kits or use up your stash is to Mix & Match! A lot of times you can find colors or themes in your past kits that coordinate well with your newer kits. And this month's Bookish Collection just happened to coordinate beautifully with the colors in the Spice Market Collection from last August!

I wanted this Travelers Notebook size layout to have a Spring theme, so I went through my Bookish Modern Memory Keeping Kit and Bookish Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit to find the Spring products. Once, I had some of the die cuts, chipboard stickers, and a couple of pocket cards from the Bookish Collection, I went through my Spice Market kits to grab some coordinating items.

I loved the alpha stickers from the Spice Market Modern Memory Keeping Kit. They went well with the colors in the Bookish Collection, and I used them to create the title layered over my photo. I also brought in one of the patterned papers from the Spice Market Collection, because I wanted to add a journaling spot below my photo.

On the right-hand side of the layout, I created a vertical design to balance out the large photo on the left-hand side. I used a sticker from the Spice Market Memory Keeping Sticker Kit for a stamping spot. Then I placed one of the pocket cards from the Bookish Modern Memory Keeping Kit below it. Then, I used some fussy-cut flowers from one of the pocket cards, die cuts, and chipboard stickers to finish the layout. See my process video here on my Instagram!
