I started by flipping through the paper pad from the  October Afternoon Creative Kit. I love these papers because they are such fun and beautiful designs but they don't have the same thickness as traditional scrapbook paper. So I can use those to create the base of my spread without having it cause too much bulk. I picked a semi neutral one that featured a lot of colors so I could easily build the spread from there.

  

 

  

I really liked the decorative card with the three girls and October from the October Afternoon Creative Kit, so I used that as my main focal point for the page.

  

 

  

After that it's really all about adding any of the rub ons, stickers and extra paper bits to fill out the page. I pulled a few of the washi papers to create some balance on each side of the page. I love how this turned out and it might be one of my favorite cover pages of the year so far!
