Let's get sentimental today using the Daily Journal Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. And by sentimental, we mean snarky and silly!

Carol Weatherspoon: Let’s Get Sentimental

Okay, so we're not going to be wiping away tears after this post because the sentiments included in the Daily Journal Collection are really funny! So, my family and I recently went through the joys of putting a new roof on our home. As with any home project, the pain of construction is real! I decided to use several of the sentiment die cuts to document the beginning stages of our journey.

On the left side of the spread I used some really cool and graphic patterned paper from the kit. I love that camera at the top of the page and I added a butterfly die cut to the lens just for a little added interest. I added my title and below that my photo with a couple of the sentiments.

Next, on the right side of the spread, I used another sheet of patterned paper that has some white writing on the black background. I thought that the sentiments would play really nicely with it. I included two progress photos and a few additional die cut pieces. I added no journaling because the sentiments I included really told the story!
