Hello Daisies,
Lisa here giving you a little look inside my July planner using the amazing To the Sea kit. I love the art work in this kit so much and it was so fun to play with!
For all my dashboards this month I used the A5 dashboards from the dashboard kit, cut them down to A6 size for my A6 rings and used a few stickers, die cuts, and such to make them my own.
First up is this "Just keep Swimming" dashboard. Because A5 is so much larger than A6 I make sure I when I trim them down that I get as much of the artwork as I can. I added a die cut fish and a puffy fish to add a bit of dimension to the fish that were printed on the dashboard. From the bottom part that I trimmed off, I fussy cut some of the sea weed to add to the bottom. I finished the edge off with a ruffle ribbon I had in my stash and a tab at the top.
Next up is this super cute turtle dashboard. I trimmed this one down so that the turtle was the main focal point. I add a few puffy sticker circles to mimic bubbles and added a die cut phrase and tab to finish it off.
Next are a couple of my weekly pages. I use LightsPlannerAction inserts for my monthly and weekly pages because they function perfect for me. The last couple of months I did all four weeks ahead of time. I have found this saves me so much time in the long run! I use a combo of the Planner sticker kit, The Classic planner sticker kit and the weeks sticker kit. I don't really have a rhyme or reason to my stickering because even though I love a lot of white space I love the hodgepodge of stickers too!
Last but not least is my very favorite dashboard. I love these turtles so much! All the artwork in this kit is so fun and playful that it is hard not to smile when looking at it! I cut the A5 Dashboard down so that to of the turtles were at the top and bottom. The turtle in the middle is one of the rub-ons that came in one of the kits along with the " let's relax" rub-on. The rub-on are always one of my favorite things as the add a little something extra without all the bulk. Do you see that turtle patch at the top? Isn't he just the cutest? I loved it so much that I added it to a paper clip and trimmed some paper for the back so that it looks finished!
Hope you enjoyed this little peek inside my planner for the month.
Until next time,
Lisa
