Journal Setup with Marigold & Honey Deluxe Journaling Kit
Hello, friends!

In today's post, I'm sharing how I set up my prompt journal for a new month, using the Marigold & Honey Deluxe Journaling Kit.

I like to get these set up before the new month starts, so when it's time to actually sit down and journal, the decorating is already completed.

Using one of the big sheets of the PET stickers from the  Marigold & Honey Deluxe Journaling Kit, I lay the whole thing down on the left side of the page. I will cut a piece of the scrapbook paper to fit the size of the notebook and glue just the edges of the paper. This creates the pocket where I can place the monthly prompt page. I love doing this so the prompts stay in the notebook and keep me organized.

On the right side of the page, the first step is to cut the notebook paper. This is how I create the Dutch door and give the page a little more depth. Once that's done, I take the piece of vellum and cut it to fit the full length of the paper. I then use the die-cut stickers (on both sides of the paper) to make the border that goes down the entire length of the page. I will decorate each prompt page with washi tape, PET stickers, and the rub-on stamps as well. Now when the month starts, I have everything set in place and ready to go!
