Fun with Autumn Whispers Rub-Ons!

Hello, friends!

Rub-on transfers have returned to the memory keeping scene and we are here for it!

Traci Reed: Fun With Rub Ons

Hey Everyone! Traci Reed here and today I'm talking about using the Rub Ons in the Autumn Whispers Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit and Autumn Whispers Modern Memory Keeping Kit as the main embellishments in my 12x12 layout!

To start off, I wanted to create a central cluster that would serve as the focal point of the layout. Layering different papers from the kit was key in achieving this. I love the mix of warm and earthy tones in the papers, which perfectly captured the essence of the autumn season. It's like bringing a piece of East Tennessee's fall beauty right onto the page.

Next, I carefully selected three points of interest around the central cluster to apply the colorful leaf rub-ons. These rub-ons added that extra touch of nature and texture to the layout. They almost look like real leaves you could pick up on a crisp autumn day. The vibrant colors contrasted beautifully with the paper's muted tones, making the leaves truly pop.

To give the layout an extra dimension and a hint of artistic flair, I decided to add burnt orange ink splatters. This created a sense of movement and emphasized the fall theme even further. It's those little details that really make a layout come to life.

Lastly, I completed the page with more stamping and some carefully chosen die cuts from the collections. These embellishments tied everything together and added a personalized touch to the layout. The end result was a scrapbook page that not only showcased the beauty of East Tennessee's fall foliage but also highlighted the creative possibilities of using leaf rub-ons in your scrapbooking projects.

I hope you find inspiration in this layout and give it a try in your own scrapbooking adventures. Remember, it's all about capturing those special moments and memories with a touch of creativity!
