Examples for Using Sticker Quotes to Inspire in Your Storytelling
Hello friends, Today the design team is sharing creative ways to use the quotes from our Cocoa Daisy Sticker kits in their storytelling designs. Let's begin with this awesome mind map from Kristine. "I recently took a look through Audrey Medd’s Instagram story highlights, specifically her Mind Maps for 2020, and I instantly fell in love! I knew I wanted to try her technique, and I wanted my mind map theme to be about keeping a positive frame of mind this month - and several of the quote stickers from the Memory Keeping Sticker Kit were just perfect for this theme!" "I followed Audrey’s four-step process, and I was amazed at how easy it was. I decided to create my mind map on one half of the monthly spread in my large format Happy Planner - that way it will be front and center, and hopefully it will give me the encouragement I need to get through the rest of August in a good frame of mind. I decided I will use the other half of the monthly spread to journal about my goals and how the map helps me to make progress on them as the month progresses." "I used watercolor powders for the background, plus stickers, stamps, and die cuts, and the process could not have been easier. To watch this spread come together and hear some thoughts behind my choices, take a look at my process video." We love Kristine's mind map and encourage you to try them too. Mind maps are a great way to visually organize your thoughts and the Backyard Blooms kits have an abundance of die cuts, stickers, and stamps to create your own visual reference! Our next idea for using sticker quotes comes from Casie in the form of a beautiful tag mini album. Casie used the vellum sticker quotes from the Backyard Blooms memory keeping sticker kit as well as many of our kit papers to create the foundation for her tags. She accented them with die cuts and our puffy stickers from this collection. Here is a view of all the tags and their lovely messages. The added benefit of a mini album like Casie created is that you don't need to worry about bulk. You can add puffy stickers and use foam tape on the back of our die cuts and stickers to create height and interest. We love Casie's miniature reminder to keep looking up and stay positive! You can easily slip this little bit of loveliness into your purse or planner and take it with you. Our final layout is from Traci. "I LOVE using the sticker quotes throughout my Creative Journal every month! They're a great way to fill up some space in a beautiful way. Since I never have a problem using them ALL, I decided to challenge myself further and rather than just plop one on my page, make it a highlight!" "I added that beautiful dragonfly quote sticker to the pretty tag from the Backyard Blooms kit and they look like they were all one piece to begin with!" "It makes such a gorgeous statement piece on my spread." Click here to view Traci's process video and see how this layout came together." We'd love for you to share your ideas for using our stickers in your memory keeping layouts. Please tag @cocoa_daisy on social media or share with us in our private facebook group. Have a wonderful day, ~Robin
