Hello, friends! If you received the Meadow Collection, then you have seen all the adorable animals featured in this collection. So how is our Creative Team using them in their projects? Let's find out! Traci made it a goal to go out of her comfort zone and feature these cute critters in this layout. Honestly? I have a hard time when collections include animals - especially when they're the MAIN element in the design - so I challenged myself to create a page where I actually USED the cute critters from the Meadow Collection! Quite a few of the pugs look all bundled up and cozy, so I knew I could use them for a layout about my husband and I snuggled up on the couch watching TV! One of my main tips for using anything with eyes is to make sure the eyes are never looking off the page, so I made sure all of my pugs are looking in toward the design or at something specific! I just can't get over how cute all of the critters are in the Meadow Collection! I decided to start out the month by highlighting the pugs. I used the stickers and papers from the Meadow Planner Kit, the Meadow Planner Sticker Kit, and the Meadow Planner Add-On Kit for most of this spread. In my monthly desk planner, I thought it would be fun to again highlight these cute critters by simply cutting out 2x2 inch squares and attaching some of the stickers and puffy stickers onto them and sliding each into a clear pocket page. Makes me smile every time I turn to it. This is also a great way to make use of some of your paper scraps; I hate to waste any one of these beautiful papers this month. Each month I also like to make tags and bookmarks to use in my planners. For the tag flip ( attached to my TN) I used a leftover A5 dashboard from the Meadow Planner Dashboards and cut it into 3 tags. Then, I simply added some puffy stickers from the Meadow Planner Kit and I called it done! The other tags came from the Meadow Classified: Planner Kit and Meadow Classified: Memory Keeping Kit. I again used stickers and some trim to dress each one up. After the month is over, I will put them in my gift wrapping box and use them for tags on future presents. I love it when you can re-use the products. They are too pretty to only be used for a month. My favorite critter this month is by far the bunnies. I decided to alter one of the A5 Meadow Planner Dashboards to highlight just the bunnies. For this dashboard, I used mostly the Meadow Planner Printables, which I fussy cut and glued down along with some stickers. On the opposite page, you can see some of the pugs, which I put in the clear plastic pouch we got in last month's planner kit. I am in love with all of the whimsical characters this month. I smile every time I open my planner! As a bonus, we have a fun mini album project from Christine, featuring her adorable pups!
