Hi friends, Elizabeth here from @thejoyfulsojourn! Today I wanted to share with you my love of Cocoa Daisy rub-on transfers from the journaling kits, for use in a Tomoe River Paper planner!

   

Are you a Japanese paper fan? Do you use a Tomoe River Paper (TRP) planner? If so, you absolutely need to get on the rub-on transfers train *toot toot*! TRP paper is very, very thin - think Bible paper thin. Which means they will be busting at the seams just a few months into the new year if you're using traditional stickers from 'big box' brands. But Cocoa Daisy makes some of the best TRP-friendly decorative items, whether it's stickers or rub-on transfers and stamps.

 

 

Since starting my Cocoa Daisy journey, I've already learned so much about new creative tools and materials, but by far my favorite two items are rub-on transfers and stamps! These are so great for TRP planners and journals because they add no bulk to the page (your pages remain totally flat), thus sustaining the integrity of the binding.

 

 

 

 

In the photos above and below I used the Penelope Stamp to add a little pattern to the top and bottom of the page, then layered several rub-on transfers right on top! Every single image - and even the 'this week' header- is a rub-on transfer that is seamless on the page. There is no dry time, no transfer, and you can layer them on top of each other!
