Creative Journaling with Willows Kits
Hello, friends!

There are so many ways to create a consistent journaling practice. If handwriting is not always an option ( or a preference) for you, consider how you can use kits like the Willows Journaling Kit to do the heavy lifting for you!

Elizabeth Jorgenson: Creative Journaling with Willows Kits

Hello friends! Elizabeth here from @thejoyfulsojourn, to share how I creatively journal with physical limitations on how much I can write daily and all with the help of the Willows Journaling Kit and stamps from Cocoa Daisy.

Due to pregnancy-induced carpal tunnel that is still problematic 2 years post-partum, I’ve had to adjust my strategy with memory keeping and journaling. Gone are the days when I could fill up a larger notebook with my handwriting and a lot to say. Instead, I rely more on shorthand, cliff notes, and creative play to bridge the white page gap!

In the Willows Deluxe Journaling Kit you’ll find at least one large sticker, which is a hand-saver! For these two daily pages, I used the large sticker to anchor the page and set the tone for décor. Once I laid down half the sticker, I cut it down the center at the seam of the page and laid the rest of it down. I love opening up this spread and seeing that beautiful Willows scene in the center!

I used the Willows alpha stickers to create ‘headlines’ of topics that I knew I wanted to reflect on. These are eye-catching, fill in some space, and act as journaling reminders. And I couldn’t resist laying down some of the stamp images in the Willows stamp subscription – that front is the cutest!

While I don’t often share after-the-pen journaling spreads, I thought it would be helpful to see how my journaling pages look when filled in. I get the satisfaction of a “full” spread, with plenty of content, while saving my hands from writing excessively!
