Hi everyone, it's @mostly_mady here to share how I'm using the Willows Deluxe Journaling Kit to create dreamy spring spreads! As someone who lives in the Midwest and embraces every season as it comes, I love taking the time in my journal to reflect on my favorite things about each season.
With spring right around the corner, the Willow theme helped make my vision come to life!
I began by painting the entire page with a bright green fountain pen ink I had on hand. Then, I used two of the papers in the Willows Deluxe Journaling Kit to add to my background. The last background piece I added was a bit of vellum to tie the spread together and give the spread a little sparkle of gold.
I used the letter stickers to spell out "Spring Favs" and two stickers to embellish that corner of the page.
Spring is my favorite season, and this quote speaks directly to why. I used the sticky notes to write the quote out and framed it with some lily pads and flower stickers against the vellum paper.
I loved adding the heron against the green plants, which made it look like it was in its normal habitat. I'm delighted with how this spread turned out. It is important to reflect and document the little joys in life, like tulips starting to bloom or places you tend to visit that bring you joy!
