Hello, friends! Today, we're creating captions and journaling in our traveler's notebook memory-keeping spread. I'm using the beautiful Quiet Meadow Collection and the colors in this collection are just stunning!

  This collection has the sweetest vellum heart sentiments from the¬† Quiet Meadow Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit and I thought they would be perfect to add a caption to my photo.     It adds a sweet whimsical look to my photo with my crafty friends.   Next, onto the journaling. I usually like to use my printer for my journaling, but I typically print my journaling onto a piece of vellum or cardstock and then adhere it to my spread. I decided to be a little daring and print directly onto my patterned paper and I love how it turned out! I added a little distress ink spray from my stash to really give my layout an artsy feel.     For the right side of the spread, I utilized some inks from my stash to ink blend my background to coordinate with those colorful stairs! I added my photo, another vellum heart sentiment along with a sentiment strip (also from the Quiet Meadow Collection) and that added a little extra pizazz to my photo. I also stamped underneath my photo which serves as a little more journaling along with a little more stamping behind and above my photo. This spread has such a cohesive look and the Quiet Meadow Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit is chock full of all the goodies I needed to make my photos pop!
